The Lehigh Valley Food Inspection Map

I built a free, searchable map of food inspection reports for restaurants and other food facilities across Lehigh and Northampton counties.

The state already publishes these records, but finding a restaurant’s inspection history takes some digging. I wanted an easier way to look it up, so I made one.

You can search by name or address, browse the map, filter results, and view inspection histories, findings and follow-up visits. There’s also a feed of recent inspections and links to share individual reports.

The site currently includes nearly 4,000 facilities and more than 9,000 inspections, with data refreshed weekly.

The results come directly from the official reports. I don’t add my own ratings. Keep in mind that an inspection reflects conditions on that day, and any problems may have been corrected since.

This is an independent Lightly-Salted Productions project, not affiliated with Pennsylvania or local inspection authorities. The site has no ads but uses Google Analytics for visitor statistics.

Thanks to Spotlight PA’s public collector for helping me figure out how to access the state’s data.

Take a look, and let me know if you run into anything that needs fixing.
